2006 Artists in Residence

February-April:
Drew Browning & Arnette Barbier, Bradley University Slane scholars, were first Artists to stay at 1106 Germantown Hills Residence. The facility also served as a classroom for Bradley University Multimedia students.Visit http://www.unreal-estates.com for more information about Drew & Anette.

April 29:
Tami Schmidt, MFA candidate from Bradley University, had her Thesis exhibition in warehouse gallery one. View exhibit by clicking on the image.

July:
Brianna Anderson, PCA first Teen Summer Artist in Residence

July:
Hosted artists, Elizabeth Mead & Michelle Acuff, for a two week AIR. Elizabeth worked on waterjet cutting using rubber materials.
July 22:
Artist reception, Utopian Night Sweats, Kaz McCue; Sequence Shifting, Pam Ayres; The Aromatherapy of Light, Kevin Carrigan.

July - September:
The Regional Museum Fence Project. Materials were provided to seven schools and one Girl Scout Outreach Troop to create murals for the fence.

On Nov 17 a reception and press conference was held for the seven participating schools at Old Chicago. those in attendance included students, teachers and parents.
